50+ Club Programs - Flashback to Murder at the Carousel Music Theatre The Old Orchard Beach Recreation 50+ Club is an exciting way to be connected with many wonderful and active adults within our community and surrounding areas. For $10 per calendar year, you will get discounted rates on trips and events, as well as preferred registration. All memberships are from January 1st-December 31st, regardless of registration date.Registration: Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for all programs, including free programs. You can register at our office or online. Non-members can register for an additional $5 per program.Refunds: If we cancel a program, all fees will be returned to your account as an account credit. If you withdraw 1 week prior to the trip, you will be credited the full amount, unless it is a contracted or ticketed program. If you cancel within 1 week to the trip, you will receive a full account credit IF we are able to fill your seat with someone else.Program Locations: Unless otherwise noted, all programs and trips take place at and/or depart from the Recreation Office at The Ballpark.Don't wait to register! OOB Rec Trail Runners Club - Trail Runners Club with Coach Tidd Hit the trails and discover the great outdoors with our NEW program for fall 2026, The Trail Runners Club!This exciting new program, coached by everyone's favorite track coach, Mark Tidd, is designed for youth who enjoy being active, exploring nature, and challenging themselves through running and fitness.Participants will visit local trails throughout the surrounding area, including locations such as the Saco Heath Preserve and the Eastern Trail. Along the way, runners will build endurance, confidence, and healthy habits while enjoying fresh air, exercise, and friendship.Unlike traditional cross-country programs, the Trail Runners Club emphasizes exploration, personal growth, outdoor recreation, and fun. Youth Travel Soccer Programs - Girls 3rd & 4th Grade Travel Soccer Represent Old Orchard Beach on the soccer field this fall!Our rec travel soccer teams provide layers with the opportunity to develop their skills, compete against surrounding communities and experience the excitement of team competition.Practices will focus on technical skills, teamwork, game strategy, sportsmanship, and player development. Participants will build confidence, improve their soccer abilities, and create lasting friendships while competing throughout the season.Whether your player is looking to continue developing their game or experience travel soccer for the first time, this program offers a fun and competitive environment for all participants. Important Program InformationGrades: There will be a 3rd & 4th grade team and a 5th & 6th team optionTentative Dates: Practices are anticipated to start the week of 8/31 and take place during the week. Times are TBD by the coach. Games are anticipated to begin the week of 9/6 and will take place at local fields against area communities.
