We offer summer day camps for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade!
Get ready for a summer full of sunshine, laughter, and unforgettable moments! Our OOB Rec Summer Camp program is designed to give kids a safe, active, and FUN-filled summer where they can make friends, try new activities, and create memories that will last long after summer ends!

Registration Dates
-April 1st: OOB Residents that are registering for the Full 8-Week Program
-April 8th: OOB Residents that are registering for the weekly program option
-April 15th: Open Registrations for non-residents
Camp Groups
We offer 4 age-appropriate groups with fun & inclusive programming for every stage!
-Little Gulls: Children entering K-1st Grades
-Junior Gulls: Children entering 2nd-3rd Grades
-Big Gulls: Children entering 4th-5th Grades
-Gull Challenge: Children entering 6th-8th Grades
Camp Dates & Schedule
-Dates: Monday, June 22nd-Friday, August 14th
-No Camp on Friday, July 3rd
-Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm
-Aftercare Hours: 3:30pm-5:30pm (additional fee, space is limited)
Extended Week
We also offer a separate 9th week of summer camp, called "extended week". This extra week of summer camp takes place at down at The Ballpark, at our Rec offices. During this week, we have a smaller group of kids and go on a field trip every day! Space is limited for extended week!
Extended Camp Dates & Schedule
-Dates: Monday, August 17th-Friday, August 21st
-Price: Extended week is $265 per child for the week
-Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm
-Aftercare Hours: 3:30pm-5:30pm (additional fee of $75 for the week, space is limited)
Gull Challenge Overnight Camping Trips:
-1st Trip: Week of July 13th
-2nd Trip: Week of August 10th
Pricing
We offer 2 options for summer camp rates: a weekly rate, where you pick & choose which weeks your child will come, and a full summer rate, where your child comes to all 8-weeks of our summer camp program at a discounted weekly rate.
Please note that this does NOT include our extended 9th week of camp. That is a separate price and must be signed up for separately on your registration form!
Weekly Rate Option
-Little Gulls, Junior Gulls, Big Gulls: $300 per child per week
-Gull Challenge: $300 per child per week (plus an additional $100 during camping weeks)
Full Summer Rate
-For all camp groups: $1800 (breaks down to $225 per week)
-Gull Challenge camping fees are already included in the price
After Care Fee
After care is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is registered on a per week basis. Space is limited. Aftercare is from 3:30pm-5:30pm.
-After Care Rate: $75 per week per child
How to Register
Getting signed up is easy:
1. Get a camp registration form from our website or at the Recreation Department
2. Completely fill out the registration form, making sure to answer ALL questions, applicable supplement forms, and filling out the authorized pick-up list. Make sure to read through the Parent Handbook.
3. Bring your completed registration form as well as a non-refundable $250 deposit per child to the Recreation Department.
**Please be aware that if you have an outstanding balance on your account, you will not be able to register for summer camp until it has been settled.
**You can NOT register for summer camp yourself online. All forms must be turned in at our office with a non-refundable $250 deposit
Important Payment Deadlines
-For those enrolled in our full 8-week program, at least 50% of the camp fee must be paid by June 22nd.
-If you choose the weekly camp option, then the full payment is required by June 22nd.
-The final payment for the 8-week program is due by July 13th.
Payment Plans
While we do offer flexible payment plans, all payment deadlines (above) remain in effect. Payment plans involve a signed contract with automatic debit or credit withdrawals set up on your account and must be arranged in advance.

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available for summer camp. You can pick up forms at the recreation office or find them under the 'FORMS' tab. Completed applications for financial assistance are due by May 1st. You can submit completed financial assistance packets at our office or email them to Kira at kclark@oobmaine.com
