Program Overview:
The Pre-K through 2nd Grade Basketball Clinic is a six-week program designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of basketball while emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This program is open to children from Pre-K (ages 3-5) through 2nd grade, providing a fun and engaging environment for them to learn and grow in the sport.

Program Goals:

Skill Building: Develop basic basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense.
Teamwork: Foster teamwork and cooperation through drills and group activities.
Fun and Engagement: Create a positive and enjoyable experience that encourages a lifelong love for basketball.
Sportsmanship: Teach the values of fair play, respect, and good sportsmanship both on and off the court.

Anticipated Program Plan for Pre-K:
Parent/guardian involvement**
9 active sport specific stations that rotate every 4-5 minutes
Group game at the end of each session

Anticipated Program Schedule for Kindergarten - 2nd grade:

ADDITIONAL NOTES****
1st & 2nd Grade Games: 1st and 2nd graders may have up to 2 scheduled games throughout the program to apply the skills they've learned in a game setting.
