Fall Flag Football Programs
Get ready to huddle up, run routes, and score touchdowns!
OOB Rec Youth Flag Football provides young athletes with an exciting opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football in a fun, safe and non-contact environment.
Players will develop skills including passing, receiving, route running, defensive positioning, teamwork, and sportsmanship through practices and games against neighboring communities. Whether your child is new to football or already loves the game, this program focuses on skill development, confidence building, and having fun as part of a team.
This season, OOB Rec will offer both an 8U (2nd/3rd) and a 10U (4th/5th) Flag Football option. Please see the included flyer below for more info.

8U Flag Football Program Information
This program offers a balance of fun and competition. Young athletes will enhance their skills through regular practices and enjoy the thrill of weekend games. We will end the season at Flag Fest, sponsored by the Maine Flag Football League.
Grades: 2nd and 3rd
Anticipated Start Dates: Practices the week of 8/31 and Games the week of 9/5. Practices will be mid-week with games on the weekend. Times are TBD.
Locations: Practices will take place at the OOB HS Practice Field & Recreation Sports Field. Games will take at local community fields.

10U Flag Football Program Information
This program is designed for older kids that are ready to take their game to the next level. With more advanced drills and competitive games, players will refine their skills and deepen their understanding of football. We will the season with a tournament sponsored by the Maine Flag Football League.
Grades: 4th and 5th
